Marian Ó Tuama MIACP

Marian is the Chairperson of the Irish Fertility Counsellors Association (IFCA). Marian is a psychotherapist specialising in fertility counselling. She is a graduate of the Munster Technological University and the Royal College of Surgeons, and an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy(IACP). She works as a specialist fertility counsellor with the Waterstone Clinic where she offers implications counselling for people who are accessing donor treatments and also supportive counselling for clients undergoing all forms of fertility treatment. Marian also has a private practice in Cork city. Marian has a particular interest in perinatal loss and bereavement.

Edwina Oakes MIACP

Edwina Oakes is the Vice-Chairperson of the Irish Fertility Counsellors Association (IFCA).  Edwina has worked as a counsellor for over ten years and provides specialist fertility counselling to couples and individuals from her private practice. Edwina is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).  Her specialist interest includes all aspects of assisted conception, donation treatment and supporting clients before, during and after their treatment.

Margaret Dunne MIACP

Margaret Dunne is the treasurer and founding member of the Irish Fertility Counsellors Association (IFCA).  She qualified as a counsellor in 1997 and worked in the HARI unit and Sims Clinic as a fertility specialist. She now works in private practice and is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).

Aine Ward MIACP

Aine Ward is the Secretary of the Irish Fertility Counsellors Association (IFCA). She qualified as a Psychotherapist in 2006. Her main area of work is sexual health and reproduction. She provides specialist fertility Counselling to Couples and Individuals and supportive Counselling for clients undergoing all forms of fertility treatment. Aine is an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) and the College of Sex and Relationship Therapists.
